Hi!

I tried searching the forum but there were no results

I want to upgrade the iPod firmware on my 5.5 G iPod. I am using a mac so I need AlterPod.
But with AlterPod I have a problem: The specified object is a property, not an element. (-10008)
So AlterPod does not work on my mac!

Is there any alternative to AlterPod?
Thanks!

Cheerio,

If you are seeking 'AlterPod' operation assistance, here - in an AppleScript development / programming group, then - please post the request elsewhere.

If you are seeking firmware assistance for the 5th generation iPod, then - please view and / or post to the ' Fifth Generation iPod' discussion group. Participants of this group may / may not be of assistance relative to 'AlterPod' and / or other similar alternatives.

If you are seeking someone to debug 'AlterPod's error message(s), then - please contact the author / publisher.

If you are scripting ' AlterPod'*, and have a problem, then - please post the code, here. However, note that the 'AlterPod.asdictionary' has no specific 'AlterPod' Class(es) and / or Command(s).

* - 'AlterPod' is an AppleScript Studio generated application, whose internal '.scpt' files are not readable.
