How are you carrying the Air around?

I want a case that fits the Air perfectly. I have a Mac-Case binder for 13" laptops but its too big for me. I am looking on-line at the Higher Ground 13" Shuttle but I really want to see it first before I purchase. Does Apple carry this in the store?

Let me know how you carry your Air.

i got this, and it is a PERFECT fit. very well made, and you can't beat the price ($9.99!).

the sleeve itself is just a sheet of neoprene folded over and very nicely stitched with leather piping, so it doesn't have much bulk to speak of (no "height" or thickness). the dimensions are spot on. and, it's available right now 🙂

Well...I don't have an MBA yet, but I know I've been eyeing this site for MBA cases/sleeves:

They have sleeves and "delux" cases for the MBA. Fabrix makes great cases/sleeves that are custom designed for all devices that they make cases for, but if you live in the US, you're going to have to wait almost a month to get your item(s) shipped to you from Singapore. x_x

Oooh, nice! Personally, I'd want to save up some extra cash for a case like this:

This "Half Pocket Full of Puter" should be the right size for an MBA, right? It's great for everyday use, especially if you don't have much else to carry with you. I figure the MBA should fit in there nicely with its accessories and a book or magazine. And I think it'd come in especially handy if I were to take the MBA to the Philippines someday. 🙂

Btw--penmanila, I see you live in the Philippines. How is your MBA doing out there? See--every other year or so, I go to the Philippines in May. I'd like to bring a laptop with me when I go, but I'm worried about temperatures being too high out there. At least my parents have air conditioning units in each room of their house, but I'm still concerned about how a laptop would do out there in general. :S

Waterfield Designs' sleeves/cases at $45 USD are a good deal in my opinion. I have owned 4 of them and all have been of high quality. Their customer service is fabulous.

Okay, that's cool. 😀

I think that I'm worried about outside temperatures because at work, we've got about 15-20 computers in the room and our supervisor always keeps the room on the chilly side--presumably to prevent the computers and some of our other machinery from having problems due to overheating. It's chilly enough so that there are times when we have to put our coats on and keep chugging away at our data entry work--it seems that it's much more important for the computers to not overheat and our lack of warmth is irrelevant. :P So yeah...I figured that if temperatures mattered so much at work, they might matter to me too in terms of having an MBA and possibly taking it with me to the Philippines in a year or two. 🙂
