Okay, I swear I am not some newbie that cannot operate a mac product but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to stop my iPhones iPod from shuffling when in a playlist (and yes, I have tried hitting shuffle to turn it off, settings etc.)
What exactly is it that I am missing here?
1. Play a song, and get to the screen where you're looking at the album art.
2. Tap once on the screen to display the time remaining:
3. To the right of the time remaining is the shuffle icon, if it's "on" it will be blue, if it's "off" it will be grey. Simply tap once on the icon itself to toggle between the "on" and "off."
If this icon is blue, it will shuffle the songs on that playlist, or album, regardless of whether or not you selected "shuffle" from the previous menu.
I have been a Mac user for a long time and had an iPhone for several months, this forum solved my problem! Who would guess that if you select a song and want them to play in order that there is another hidden shuffle icon. becky.mu you should mark this answered and helpful for Rusty!
Well, I tried this: the shuffle icon to the right was GRAYED out, and the loop icon on the left was BLUE, but iPhone continued to shuffle the tracks, a major problem if you listen to classical music.
