How to Disable Stacks?

Hey All!

i've read a lot of talk about these stacks, but i didn't find a definite anwser into
How to disable them?

i just want my folders in the dock, to open right away in finder, istead of having click "show in Finder" on the stacks/grids. not preductive, since most my folders have more then 5 files usually + in the grid mode, u can't right click them.

I've sure one you mac wizards know how to simply do this.
is it in a obscure preference menu?

any insight would be great, thanx!

Hey

I've just found a workaround. Create an alias for whatever folders you want on the dock. Name them whatever you want. Then drag those aliases to the dock. For whatever reason, when an alias is dragged to the dock, when you click on it, it just opens up, without any of the stacks nonsense.

I stumbled onto it, and thought I'd share for those who aren't big fans of Stacks.
