Logic 8 Scanning for AUs that Do Not Exist

Prior to installing Logic, I had downloaded a demo version of FxPansion's Guru Drum Sequencer, played around with it, and then deleted it. Now, every time Logic starts up, it tries to locate Guru and can't find it. I've searched for all files with the word "Guru" in their titles using spotlight and have deleted them all. Anybody have any suggestions as to what is telling Logic that there are AUs associated with Guru still? Anybody have any suggestions as to how to get it to stop searching for those AUs --- they don't exist.

Thanks in advance.

Look in the user/library/audio/plug-ins/components directory. Delete the component file if it's there.

If you've done that and it's still being scanned, then trash your AU cache files:
