problems putting ringtones made on garageband on iphone
I can make ringtones on garageband using loops etc then send them to itunes but when I transfer them to the iphone I can only ever have one of them on the phone at any time, every time I put a new one on it duplicates the existing. So if I try to have four different custom ringtones on the phone it just makes them all the same ringtone. Any ideas please.......... thanks

I have just tried that but whatever ringtone I put on the phone it changes the previous one as-well so I can have lots of ringtones but they are always the same one. Hope this makes sense !
See my problem is when I try and import a song to garageband they are all in m4a format. What do they need to be in so I can open one in there and try and make a ringtone? If I can figure that out then all I have to do is figure out how to make one.
Right click and hit info? I have mac, so right clicking would be what? I have tried everything I know of and can't find info on a track so I can pick a part of the song I want as a ringtone.
Yeah, i have this exact same problem, really irritating.. Are you by any chance manually managing your music and videos? the problem only started for me after i switched to manual. Havent switched back yet to test though....
