Question

I'm thinking about purchasing an Apple TV...

...and I was wondering, if Apple TV works with all TVs. On the Apple store website, it sounds like you can only use Apple TV with widescreen, or HD TVs.

i believe the HDTV requirement is for HD movie rentals. if your current TV can meet the lowest requirement you should be fine. but if not you might need to get a new TV.

You need a widescreen tv capable of accepting either HDMI or component input (not composite) some 4:3 tv's may be OK if they are capable of sorting out widescreen inputs, but not all do this.
