print a highlighted selection
How do I print a highlighted selection of a page, as opposed to the entire page? I can't find this option when setting up to print. Thanks!
I don't think there is a way to print a selection in OS X. I do have a workaround though. Use Command-Shift-4. This will give you a little targeting reticle. You then hold in the mouse button and draw a box around what you want. When you release the mouse button, a screenshot of the selection will be saved on your desktop as a pdf file which you can then print.
