adjusting volume without buttons?

Question

adjusting volume without buttons?

My iPhone got dropped, and landed on its side, denting the case just a little bit next to the volume buttons. Now, I can't use the buttons to increase the call volume. Is there any way to adjust the earpiece volume for phone calls without using the side buttons?

I can do it in iPod mode, but it doesn't seem to affect phone calls. Any suggestions?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I don't believe there is a way to do this besides getting your iPhone repaired.

Have you already gone to Settings and then Sounds and then moving the slider listed under "Ring" there?

I was afraid of that... You're right that wasn't the answer I wanted to hear. My screen cracked a couple of months, but still works fine. I wouldn't mind taking it in to just repair the audio, but I'm sure I'll bring it in and get socked with the screen-replacing fee, which I want to avoid.
