How do I color code events?

How do I color code each event without making a new calendar and grouping the calendars together to see the different event colors? Also, when I am grouping calendars together (because I had to use this option for color coding) why does it, when published, revert to only one color. Meaning that all the calendars together which were once color coded all get turned to blue instead of the purple, green and red they once were.

Hope that makes sense for someone out there.

please someone know the answer... i'm pulling out my hair... color coding events just is like one of the simplest things on earth these days... it's gotta work man.

I am not sure what you are asking with this question, because individual calendars will be color coded when created. Calendars must be selected (clicked on) to create a specific event color coded to that calendar.

Also, when I am grouping calendars together (because I had to use this option for color coding) why does it, when published, revert to only one color.

That, unfortunately is the way it "Just Works" when a calendar is published.

While this isn't the answer I wanted, at least I can leave it alone now and move on to other crisis.

That is soooooo stupid that the color coding goes away when published. DUH Apple, what's up???

I wonder if there is a way in iWeb to merge the calendar and webpage so that the html recognizes the color coding. hmmm.... can you export iCal as html? and if not... DUH Apple!
