Change Short Name ?

Hi,

Is there an easy way to change the "short name" of my account user ? When I loaded Tiger the last time, I added one too many letters to my last name ... so, the short name is a little annoying. I can change the regular name but not the short name.

I read in the help file that I have to create a new account in order to do that ... if that is the only option, is there an easy way to copy my files/preferences from my current login acct to the new one ? Or is it a hassle ?
