Pages template for an Employee Handbook

Pages template for an Employee Handbook

Hi,
I recently downloaded the Iwork suite so I can use pages to create an employee handbook. (I have always used MSWord, but it's Master Documents seems really cumbersome) Is there a template for handbooks or manuals? Template in the "pages" Demo video looks like exactly what I need but I don't see it listed as one of the templates.
Help!

Thanks for the quick reply. What I mean to say is that one of the examples in this tutorial video looks like the template that I want but I don't see it listed. Can I get it somewhere?

The handbook is mostly just a lot of text but it is long so I'd like it to be clearly formated with a table of contents and several different headers so it is readable. None of the templates I've seen in pages is for handbooks or manuals so I was wondering if there is one you could recommend.

Welcome to Apple discussions.

I'm not sure what the above sentence means. If you tell us what your needs are, maybe we can steer you to a solution. What components are you putting in the handbook?

Your best bet is to develop your own template for your needs.

Mess around with it a bit until you get what you are looking for. Look at other manuals and stuff you like and try to duplicate it. Add some of your own touches. That is what is so great about iWork. You can get very creative and if you want to change it, duplicate it and make some changes to the duplicate so you don't lose the original.

Just play with it.

to my iDisk for a template I created for novelists. It's geared toward long text documents, with a table of contents, chapter headings, bookmarks, etc. If it's not precisely what you need, feel free to modify it to your liking.
