Panic mode?

Did you tried to hack/jailbreak your phone?
my friend had the same problem when he was trying to hack/jailbreak his phone.
He had to do a restore thru itunes. That was the only thing that fix the problem.

First, DON'T PANIC.

Panic is a UNIX term that is similar to a Blue Screen error in Windows. It means the operating system has encountered an error that it can't recover from.

The fix is a forced recovery. First, reboot your computer. Next launch iTunes. Then turn off the iPhone (if it will). Next hold the HOME button on the phone while putting the phone in its dock. CONTINUE HOLDING until something happens - you should eventually seen a message saying to connect it to iTunes. At this point it should restore the firmware on the phone to factory conditions. After this completes you should be able to sync and recover your data.

Can someone explain to me what Panic mode? Or, is that just slang for an error state?
