Grace Note

Hi,

I am trying to find out if it is possible to use grace notes (a note used for embellishment that does not have any value) in Garage Band.
I would appreciate any help.

Regarding your three questions, the general answer is: Stop using the notation mode (if you don't want to print out sheet music). It's not a good tool for precise editing of notes. Switch to the piano roll mode and try to get comfortable with it - it's very intuitive, and you can determine the exact length of notes.

Regarding this thread's question: A grace note is just another note - put it in the grid using the pencil tool. The notation view won't display it the way you want it, it'll show you a short note.
