Both Safari and Firefox will not load webpage

This is an issue in both Safari and Firefox (I use Firefox as my default, but since it's happening in Safari too, I figured I could post the problem here). I frequently visit Crate & Barrel's website and cb2.com, and as of recent I have not been able to load the site. I've tried on both my eMac (Safari and Firefox) and on my new iMac. I was able to load the page on a windows computer in my house. I'm not sure if I ever viewed their website on my iMac since it's new as of last month. On the eMac I visited the site often. Why all of the sudden would I not be able to load the website? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You have to love when Customer Service reps don't actually read your message:

To Crate & Barrel:
"I recently have not been able to access the Crate&Barrel
website on either my Apple eMac or my new iMac. However, I can access
the site on a Windows computer. I am using Firefox, so it can't be an
issue with the browser. I try to access the site using Safari and that
does not work either. I used to visit the site often on my eMac and
never had any issues loading the page. Any ideas as to what the problem
may be? And why all of the sudden? Any help is appreciated."

Crate & Barrel's Response:
"Thank you for your email.

If you are experiencing problems with our website site, feel free to download any of the following recommended browsers:

Firefox (For Mac, Windows and Linux)
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Internet Explorer (For Windows)
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx

Safari (For Macintosh OS X)
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/safari/

Netscape (For Mac, Windows and Linux)
http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/

Current AOL users may also enter "upgrade" as an AOL keyword.

If this does not work, we are not sure why you are experiencing difficulties. Please try to visit our website again later."

Are you serious? Did I not mention that I was using both Safari and Firefox?

I also have this after upgrading to 10.5.2.
On all my Macs Safari hangs after entering the apple store (first two screens load normally).
I also cannot login to my itunes account.
WHen I do a forced stop it says Safari hangs. I have the same with Firefox.
All other website load normally (fast and smooth).
Strange......Any help/solutions?
Best regards,
Roeland

No guarantees that this will fix your particular problem but there is an issue with the latest release of Flash (115) and many different browsers. Installing 10.5.2 overwrites whatever version you had installed with 115. The fix is to go back to release 47 (sorry ..can't point you to a link.....I did try sticking it up on my public folder on my .mac account but it says it's too large to download).

Having said all that, the fact that widge, who is on 10.5.2, does not have a problem does mean that in this particular case Flash 47 might not fix the problem.
