Q: Yahoo! Push email has stopped working

I am experiencing the same issue. It started a day or so ago and I have rebooted, tried deleting and reinstalling yahoo mail account and nothing seems to correct it. It worked perfectly before. Hopefully someone has a clue as to what happened.

Ditto.. Started last night I think....

Being a holiday there prolly is no one there to notice or fix it.. Prolly tomorrow.

My Yahoo is working fine, but my Gmail isn't. Keeps telling me Invalid Credentials.

Yep, me too. My push mail quit working today. Anybody have any suggestions? Is it our phones or Yahoo?

I was experiencing this as well, I deleted my Yahoo account and then I reinstalled it then I went into the settings on phone and used the reset button and whala, it worked and now my yahoo e-mail push is working

Ditto that for gmail. Didn't work earlier...but this time I deleted it and retyped everything in and bammo, it worked.

On Friday, 2/15/08, I could not access my Yahoo! email on my iPhone for several hours (even when trying to check Y! email manually); the Y! mail worked fine using my computer's browser. Since then, the Yahoo push email does not work at all. What is interesting is that not only is the email not being "Pushed" (updated as emails come in), the Yahoo! email settings on the iPhone don't have an option to automatically check for emails every 15 mintues, etc. as it does for the Gmail accounts. I have to keep manually refreshing my Y! inbox on the iPhone. Any suggestions?

I tried to rebuild my yahoo account this morning as I am also having trouble with yahoo and gmail, but when verifying the account I get a message about 'imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com' is not responding, telling me to check that the correct information is in the incoming mail server field, even though that is already preinstalled by the phone and not a configurable option in the Yahoo mail setup.
So I also have no mail on my phone.

Yahoo push has never been reliable for me - it always stops working at some point until you manually check it. I wish they would just get rid of it and have it check every 15 min instead.

You could try just powering the phone off then on again. This worked for me.
