Q: Yahoo! Push email has stopped working

Mine stopped working a few days ago as well. I am still able to collect the mail by turning off the push option in the advanced settings of the account. It does then collect the Yahoo mail manually every 15 minutes with all of my other accounts. Not the preferred method, but better than nothing until the push feature comes back.

Since weekend, yahoo push mail stopped working in my iphone too, and i tried all fix suggested in this chain but none worked. For now i have turned off the push mail option.
I don't know if this is related but Yahoo Mail is having other issues and seem to have started around the same time. I have two additional issues (on my computer, nothing to do with iphone): 1. In outlook: mails are not leaving the outbox. I can't say this happens all the time but has been happening very frequently. 2. Some test mails, i sent myself, reached me after several hours! Once again not every time but very often.

Is anyone else noticing any of this? [Note: Free yahoo mail account cannot be used with Outlook]

No help from Yahoo support as Outlook problems are not theirs!

How do managed to get push mail working for gmail?

I have a gmail account as well and incomming mails never pushed to my iPhone.

Push e-mail started working again this morning on mine, I didn't change anything. Maybe they got things working again.

Yes! Yahoo push is back up and running for me this morning!!!

not that i fully understand it, but think yahoo is a works for one or noone service.

I am in the UK. take it most of you guys are in the US. Yahoo push aint as big as blackberry or whatever, so think its all done from a central server, or server farm.

Hopefully the repairs will reach the US soon. Not having PUSH MAIL really bites.

Mine just started working about an hour ago. I didn't do anything, it just started working. Either Apple or Yahoo did something. Hopefully it will continue to work.

Yep jim0480, mine started working today too. Did not do anything either. Still going to keep a watch and see what happens. I'll probably still call Apple Monday to let them know and see if they did anything.
