USB cord not working

Hey how's it going,

I have a problem with my USB cord, it doesn't charge my ipod when I connect it to my computer. My ipod does show the 'Do not disconnect' screen though.
I've tried many other USB cords and they work fine so I guess my question is...
can I get a new USB because I'm still under the warranty?

HP, Windows Vista

Probably, that you can get a new one under warranty. Another option is to buy a wall charger like the one Griffin Technology sells. These give you a standard USB output to plug your cable into, but also they come with another cable, so you get a spare (well a spare if yours worked that is). I would contact Apple and see if you can get a replacement first.
