SDK stands for Software Developer's Kit.
It will allow developers to create third party applications for the iPhone.

its a kit created by apple so that 3rd party applications can be created for the iphone. it will allow developers to create new programs for the iphone, of corse they will have to play by apples rules by developing their software with apples kit. once again, stop trying to regulate my iphone apple! its my phone!!! now that thats out there, do we have a specific date yet on the sdk kit? i believe they said february.
do you guys think it will have video rec.??????
The software development kit will offer nothing of any use to individual consumers. It is intended to allow registered developers to build applications which are optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch, following guidelines established by Apple.
That's it. If you are asking if the 'kit' itself will offer an ability to record video, the answer is a resounding NO.
