Who uses Xsan?

Organizations who
+ need large amount of storage,
+ need high throughput
+ are familiair with apple hardware

Typically this is used in video processing companies like postproduction houses and broadcasters. Also universities and hospitals.

We are a broadcast/multi-media house. If you watch anything automotive on TV you probably see things we are doing day to day.
Aside from our other finishing rooms, we have 5 final cut pro suites that use our XSAN.
When we move to a different location later this year I will consider adding an XSAN volume for general file storage
