Pitchbend data gets time shifted?

I use Logic for making midi music for computer games. I have one tune where I use pitch bend with a fiddle. The final midi file plays well on my Mac (Quicktime) but on some windows computers it doesn't. In Logic I use an environment where the midi is played by the quicktime instruments, just to be sure I get the right general midi sounds (yes, they sound always different on different synths/wavetables, but good enough). The problem is that when I place the pitchbend events in Logic (I draw them there with the hyperedit functions) so that it sounds good, the pitch bend events in the event list seem to be late. And if i move them earlier, they don't sound right anymore in Logic (or the Quicktime player), but they get right on a Win machine (Winamp or Windows media player).

As I see it, Winows is right here and Quicktime is wrong. Are events like pitch bend known to time shift like this on different systems/drivers/whatever? Like you need some latency settings for different systems and different midi events, to ensure the time code in the midi event can be reliable.
