I tried unplugging the printer, but it did not help...until my husband came and restarted it himself, after which it printed just fine. Sorry it will not be very helpful to you... But you actually do not need the printer driver to print from a mac. Mac can send documents to printers without extra driver. So you might want to remove the driver, try printing without it and restart both computers and printer if it does not work.
I recently purchased a MacBook with Leopard and now I cannot find a driver for my office's Dell 5110cn printer. The Dell website says it has a Mac OS driver for the printer, but it is not working with my laptop. It just says that the printer is paused when I try to print. Does anyone know of a fix out there for Leopard?

Have you tried installing the driver from the CD that came with the printer? It works great for me under Leopard.
I had the same problem. Go to the Dell website and download the Mac version of the 5100cn printer driver. It downloads in a ".sit" format file. Get the free StuffIt Expander from Smith Micro Software (Google them). Expand it and you can then run and install the driver. I did it and it works great.
Here is a link to the driver,
http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd &releaseid=R114470&formatcnt=1&libid=0&fileid=150570 . It says Mac9 but there is a Mac10 folder in the download with the appropriate installer. It is a .sit file so you will need StuffIt.
Just to clarify how to get this to work, here is what I did:
Install the Mac OS X driver from Dell, then
Goto System Preferences > Print & Fax
Click the + to add a new printer
Switch to IP
Enter the address of your Dell 5100cn
Under Print Using choose Select a driver to use...
Find Dell Laser Printer 5100cn V3015.102 PS and select it
Click add
You should be able to use your printer now.
