How to access notes in iTunes?

I updated to 1.1.3 and paid the "dreaded" $20 but feel it was well worth it. I do wish they had added a to do list but for now the notes feature is very useful. The problem is that I can only add notes on my 16 gig iPod Touch. Cannot firgure out how to write notes via my iMac and iTunes and sync the Touch.

Am I missing something? Has this already been posted? Does anyone have a solution short of hacking the iPod Touch ( ido no want to hack mine).

Thanks for any suggestions.

Look for the iPod to become much much more powerful in the near future 🙂

Unfortunately I do not believe you can add notes on your computer and transfer them to your iPod Touch, nor can you transfer notes from your iPod Touch to your computer.

If I am incorrect I am sure one of the other forum members will let me know, however this is what I have come to understand from what has been posted here so far. Unfortunately I cannot test this to be sure since I refuse to pay Apple $20 for a system update that should have been free.

I don't know if this will help you but this is what I have done to solve this problem.
I email my notes (using the envelope at the bottom of the note page) to my PC at a different email address than the one on my iPod touch. If I need to make a note on my PC to remember something on my touch, I email it to the account I set up for the touch.
I wish that iTunes had the ability to sync notes like you can sync the calendar but since it doesn't, the above works for me.

I have in the past e-mailed notes to myself and this is a nice feature. However I would love to be able to write the notes at home then sync my iPod touch so I can access my notes while on the road. A to do list would be very helpful as well. I am quite sure once the SDK is released we will see lots of options like this. Just have to wait a bit more.
