My iPod Touch does not sync its calendar info to iCal. It works the other way around. I don't work that way. I am always posting things to my iPod to be synced to my home computer. Can anyone help be figure this out?

same problem problem here. events added on ipod touch are not transferred back to iCal. However, events added on iCal sync to ipod touch okay.
deleting and reinstalling ical does not help, removing ical calendars and restoring them doesn't help (although that fixes another issue in which unused/removed calendars appear in iTunes).
I had this problem until I discovered that I had checked the Contacts and Calendars to always be replaced on my iPod Touch from the desktop. (iTunes/Device/Info/Advanced: removed check marks)
I do not have any of those boxes checked. I am hoping Apple knows this and will fix things. I have checked every config pane I can find and everything seems normal. I'll check out the reference you provided as well.
I had the same issue. I ended up changing "sync all calendars" to "sync selected calendars" and left off one calendar. The rest of the events entered on my iPod Touch synced.
Thanks for the tip. I did have "All Calendars" checked. So, I unchecked that and checked Home and Work, the two I use, and synced and there was no change....
Hear me groaning in the early morning darkness. It's gotta be something. I am sure someone will figure it out. I am glad you got yours to work. Perhaps Apple is paying attention. Though it could be a local config. issue such as what you discovered and I have yet to discover.
Im having this problem as well and it really defeats the purpose of having a calendar on here if it won't work. Mine seems to only want to try to sync one of my 6 calendars I want to carry with me, but even then that one calendar doesn't update all events. It's very selective/random.
I also find that the odd photo album is randomly ignored. But the iCal sync is important for me. Why Apple just doesn't allow a direct link from iCal allowing multiple calendars is beyond me. If the iPod Touch is running a copy of OS X anyway, why not just make the Calendar app basically identical to iCal? And make it work!
I'm having the same issue on my 16GB Touch with 1.1.4. It happened once before and resetting sync history seemed to fix it, but now that fails to resolve the problem. This is lame.
