iPod Touch problem with iHome (iH8)

Hello fellow Apple forum users, I have an annoying problem with my iHome(iH8)/iPod Touch.

When I dock my iPod Touch into the iHome, after about 1 minute it will flash the screen over and over again, reconnecting and disconnecting the iPod. I have the right adapter(thing that the iPod sits in) for the iHome. I have tried restarting my iPod, but that did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

Please Help... somebody.

I had the same problem. It is a loose connection problem on the iH8 itself. I tried returning it, but the people wouldn't take it because it was "abused". It is just a crappy connection piece that they use and eventually will become loose and useless. I had used it 4 times and noticed it became more loose every time.

You may have better luck, try taking it to the retailer and ask them about it.

Check your warranty.

Take it to a shop.

Fix: "The solder connections on the iPod connector break easily on these things. They can be re-connected with a very thin tipped soldering iron and a magnifying glass."
