iTunes crashes when I play movie or TV show

Looking around here, I find a lot of people having a similar issue with iTunes, but I haven't seen my exact problem.

When I play a movie or TV show purchased from the iTMS. The screen pops up, but is only black, then after 30 seconds or so iTunes shuts down. Movies I imported into iTunes myself work fine, and songs I purchase from iTMS work fine, it only seems to affect protected videos. Any ideas? All software is the latest versions.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.2), iTunes 7.6.1

I too AM SEEING THIS ISSUE.... I HAVE PERFORMED SEVERAL MAINTENANCE TASKS TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE, TO NO AVAIL... MINE THOUGH, WILL GET PLAYING AND AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING MOVIE PLAYBACK IT WILL START STUTTERING OR SKIPPING... THEN TAKE THE WHOLE MAC DOW.... LOOKS LIKE APPLE, IS out playing around again,,, but these sorts of issues will become their Archeli's heel.
