How to delete playlists from Ipod Mini

Just sold my Ipod Mini and can't figure out how to delete the playlists that are on the Ipod Mini. Pls. help.

I am also having an issue with "Other" files that somehow have shown up on my iPod and are taking up 1.33GB of space and I cannot delete it. Any thoughts?
