Change the Computer Name in the Sharing preferences of System Preferences. You cannot directly change the user account name although you can change the password. Open Accounts preferences while you are logged into the admin account and click on Change Password button. There you can change the password. To change the account's Full Name simply enter the new name in the Name field. To change the Home folder's shortname click on the lock icon and authenticate. Select the account in the list then CTRL-click or right-click and select Advanced from the contextual menu. Enter the new name for the Home folder in the field labeled "Short name."
