Question

MAC PRO RAID CARD BATTERY STATUS: BATTERY IS MISSING ???

OK, I've read all about the lengthy battery charge time. But I thought the status was supposed to read: battery charging??

mine says: BATTERY MISSING

Is this normal, or do I have a bad card?????

Is the battery connected? The cards ship with it disconnected. I don't know if the pre-installed card is supposed to have it connected, though. See Step 8 on page 14

Thanks so much for your reply Malcom. I finally figured it out VERY LATE last night. Feel like a bit of a moron, but definitely missed step 8 on connecting the battery. Was so frustrated at the time trying to re-route the ipass cable, that I forgot that part.

Now the LONG WAIT TO CHARGE THE BATTERY.....
