Nag Killer?

Hi! I have a piece of shareware that I downloaded but shortly after I downloaded it the developer went out of business and I can't purchase a license to register it. I really like this little app and can't find a replacement for it but the nag that comes up is interfering with SuperDuper. Any ideas on how to kill the nag? Thanks, Tom

Hi Kappy! Yea, that's what I was afraid would be the answer. The app is Maximice and it really works well for smooth automatic edge scrolling on this old G4. Though it only works in Safari I use it to read the news because it's is smooth. I've tried everything else out there except a new mouse that might have it's own software but I've not found anything that works nearly as good as MaxiMice but maybe I just don't know where to look. That's a 5 year old product that has not been upgraded and isn't even compatible with Panther. There's a number of more compatible utilities available such as SteerMouse. Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate. Demos are usually available so you can try them out to see which you prefer. If scrolling is all you interested in try Smart Scroll.
