Oracle SQL Developer doesn't launch
I need to work with an existing Oracle database hosted on Windows. Oracle's SQL Developer is interesting although I would consider other tools if someone has a suggestion.
I downloaded the latest SQL Developer EA2 and unzipped it. It won't launch. The app bundle looks OK. I am running 10.4.11, with java release 6 installed via software update. The SQL Developer doc says EA2 includes the JDK1.5.0_06.
The sqldeveloper.log is empty, and nothing in the system log jumped out at me.
All suggestions warmly encouraged.
