Leopard/Audio Interface

I will be picking up a new MBP and LE8 next week and I am wondering what audio intefaces people recommend. I was looking at the PreSonus FireStudio Project, but I have read nothing but nightmare stories about the drivers. Is there anything in this price range that is known to work? BTW, I need something other than MOTU because they are twice the price here in Japan.

I use PreSonus FP10's. I like them because I can chain up to 3 of them together to get 24 simultaneous mic inputs. I am running 10.5.2 and LE 8, and have no problems with any drivers. Individually, an FP10 works right out of the box, and in hooking up 3 of them, I just create an aggregate device, and they work like a champ.

I have had good luck with the Presonus Firepod on the mac as well. Actually right now it is worth checking with some of your local chains on the Firepod price. Since the new release of the Firepod Studio etc... they are clearing out the previous Firepod (now the FP10). I thought the upgrade wasn't much of one and the clearance price of about $250 made the decision easy.
