Can't see full screen - moving mouse moves the view around?

The fix that i'd use is ctrl and then scroll with your mouse

Sounds like you used the Zoom feature from Universal Access. It is turned on/off in System Preferences Universal Access pane, in the Seeing tab. If it is ON, Option-Command with the = and - keys will zoom in and zoom out respectively. Pressing Control and using your mouse scroll wheel will also zoom in and out. Once you zoom in, moving the mouse will do what you described.

Just zoom out all the way using one of the methods I mentioned, and it should be back to normal. It's actually a useful feature, but you can disable it in that System Preferences pane.

It sounds as if you might have accidently enabled zooming. Try using the keyboard combination cmd opt'-' (that's the hyphen symbol). Also navigate to the 'Universal Access' preference pane in System Preferences and check the status of the 'Zoom' feature in the 'Seeing' tab.

Try "*Command +*" to zoom in or "*Command -*" to zoom out. That is the shortcut.

The problem is, some (if not most) people do not have that shortcut enabled. I don't believe that it is a default.
