"J" Cards

"J" Cards

Does anyone know of a site that has templates for creating J-cards? I think that's the right term -- it's the liner note card that is inserted into a CD case. Templates or any source of advice on creating these would be appreciated.

hey there Dick,
Roxio's Toast ships w/ an App called Disc Cover that will create inserts, you can import a pic or use theirs. also if you export to iTunes & create a playlist you can create a basic insert.

Discmakers provides these free, they do ask that you sign up though. The J card is actually the term applied to cassette box art (it looks like a 'J' when viewed on edge), but somehow made the transition to digital lol. CD covers are usually called Front and Traycard by the industry.

Thanks for that link, and for the correction on terminology. Many years ago some friends and I produced a cassette tape for our own pleasure, and that's where I came upon "J card". I gather I'm showing my age!
