ADAT and garage band

Hi
i have a question about home /pro recording

my band started to do recording at a pro studio on an older adat set up years ago
we are wanting to finish up the work now and the studio is not really available to do the final mix downs

we can get our hands on the adat tapes and a board i think and want to finish it in garage band

what is the best way to import this music from the adat /mixer to the computer for final mixdowns etc?
