Sync services, blazing fans etc.
Hi All,
Posted this first in another forum, but without joy.
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1398188&tstart=0
Only found out when trying to replicate the problem on my MacPro, that it is unique to my MBP
So here goes:
It has to do with Entourage 2008 and iCal/Address book, as soon as they try to sync, there are to processes, "Microsoft sync services" and "sync server" that drive my MBP mad.
CPU load will be 100% first with the first process and next with the 2nd. Fans will start blazing until one of the processes, most of the times the MS one, will kill itself.
I hate x-posting but if anyone feels it should be in another forum please let me know
Thanks much
Pim
