iDVD Feature Request

I often create dvd's with a single program that loops. To avoid making the user go through the menu I add the same program (.mov file) under the menu root and as the "play on insert" program. Same file.

Problem is, and this is two-fold, why do I have to add the same resource twice and not use a shortcut to one of these? Why I know there are two resources is problem two. It encodes the same added resource twice.

Not only does this double the necessary size but also doubles the time needed to render the DVD. Surely, at least, you don't need to render the same resource twice.
