Yamaha PSR-E403 Music Keyboard

I plan to buy a Yamaha PSR-E403 (YPT-400) music keyboard and connect it to an intel iMac running Leopard. Does anyone have this keyboard connected to this iMac config? Any specific known problems?

Thanks,

Deborah

There is conflicting information on the Web (and in this forum) on whether this keyboard works with a Mac, and Yamaha's website isn't very helpful. Maybe someone who has experience with this model can jump in.

Here's a "generic" Yamaha USB driver:

Thank you for the driver site. I have seen the conflicting information.

I don't know whether the USB MIDI interface that comes with the keyboard will work with Leopard, but I did find a yamaha website that has a generic Universal Binary driver (version 1.1.1) dated Feb 29, 2008 at this website:

That is hopeful since the driver is dated after Leopard shipped.

Thanks again.
