Keyboard firmware update

Any ideas why everytime I run the Software Update it lists the Keyboard Firmware 1.0 update? I must have installed it half a dozen times by now and it still appears!
Thanks
Mike

The Software Update download doesn't run/install the patch, it simply downloads an application to the Applications/Utilities folder called *Built-In Keyboard Firmware Update*.

Browse to the Utilities folder and run that app. You'll soon be set with the fix and you won't see the prompt to download any more.

On my MBP, the update downloaded and preinstalled. A few moments later a new window popped up and the install began. It does install itself - at least on my MBP it did - completely automatically, after I ticked a few buttons on the second install window.
It may depend on how one's settings are configured for automatic installing of these downloads, although I don't see any options on my system other than automatic download, which is unchecked.
