45W or 65W charger for iBook G4 1.42Ghz

45W or 65W charger for iBook G4 1.42Ghz

Does it make any difference if this model has been charging using a 65w charger after the 45W packed up and was replaced by the 65W by mistake. The spec suggests a 45W charger.

The battery has since also packed up as it is no longer holding its charge. Coconut Battery says it is kaput.

i wondered the same thing myself so the last time i was at the apple store i asked and was told that originally the 65w was powerbook only until apple realized that it work just fine with ibooks also the apple store i go to only uses the 65w for both.
