email disappears on iphone

What about: *General>Mail>IMAP account>Advanced>Deleted Messages* - Remove? Never?

Also: *General>Mail>IMAP account> Advanced> Deleted Mailbox* ?

that has: "final" and "on my iphone" Trash

down the list it has a check after "final"

I'm not sure what 'final' means, as mine has 'deleted messages'. But this may simply be a .mac thing.

Anyway, it seems that all is fine here.

I would try a hard reset first: press both the top and bottom buttons together until the Apple logo appears, then let go: don't let go when the power slider screen comes up, but hold on until you see the Apple logo.

If this doesn't help, try a full restore within iTunes. Could just be a software glitch.
