Album artwork for imported CDs?

OK, trying not to sound like a complete moron here, but I'm unable to download album artwork for several of my CDs - I keep getting the error message (Artwork for "ArtistX - AlbumX" could not be found.) when I click on "Get Album Art". But when I look at the iTunes Store, the art is all right there! What gives?? Am I missing something?

Rolfie is right. When you import a CD, iTunes uses the spelling, spacing and punctuation from the Gracenote DB. When it does a lookup for album art, it uses what's in iTunes Music Store, which can easily differ in some little detail.

If you can't get a particular piece of art from iTunes, copy it from anywhere on the web, then right-click the song, Get Info and paste it into the Artwork tab.

The last suggestion was the best for me. My album information was being imported so there was little to no chance of it being misspelled, I just couldn't get any of the album artwork to come up. The best resolve for me was to find it on the web and copy and paste the artwork. I think it's ridiculous that itunes doesn't do this automatically, but I will do it manually to save my sanity. Thanks for the suggestion.

Considering this info is input by users such as you and me and sent to Gracenote (where iTunes looks uop the info), there are plenty of chances it will be incorrect.

Check for punctuation, extra spaces, using "&" in place of "and" and such.
