A Space is a work space. It is useful if you use your Mac in different modes. For example, if you are a writer, you can have a Space that is for your writing project, and another Space for general Internet surfing and email, and another Space for games (and so on).

Application you launch are running in all Spaces. Application windows appear only in the Space you are in when the window opens, and not the other Spaces. Different app windows for the same app can be in separate Spaces. The exception to that rule is if you assign a particular app to always open in a specific Space, using System Preferences Exposé & Spaces pane. Then, windows for that app will always open in that Space even if you are in at another Space when it opens.

You can move an open a window from one Space to another Space by clicking and holding on the title bar (as if you are moving the window), and (while holding) using the keyboard shortcut for switching between Spaces.

Please help and if possible provide sopme solution to my problem .

What is the problem you are trying to solve?

Can you explain what you mean by that? Are you developing software of your own or trying to use some feature of the Finder? If the first, you probably will get better results by browsing & posting to the developer section of Discussions at http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=164, or by installing & using the developer tools & reference material included with the Leopard distribution (assuming you want to develop for Leopard).

Otherwise, we will need to know more about how you are using the Finder to do this.

Also, it will be helpful if you take the time to clearly formulate your query, using the most precise terms you can manage. Often, just doing this will help you define the issue well enough for you to solve it without outside help.
