Logic Gurus - Mapped instrument issue

Hello fellow logic 8 users.

I create a "mapped instrument" in the environment. I selct a bunch of notes ... say 2 octaves.. Then I want to change these notes to cable 2. The only one that changes is the note I am on. All of the other cables dont change.

Worked OK in Logic 7.

Can anyone confirm or have a workaround.
