Error. The message could not be saved -- REVISED

Two things are happening:

1. The error message constantly appears, over and over, every 15 seconds or so, whenever I write an email. Make it stop!

2. Nothing can be saved as a Draft. If you’re in the middle of writing an email you can’t save it. So either chuck it or send it.

Thanks for any and all help.

Hi,
Did you find an answer for this as I have the same problem, except to make it worse my messages do not appear in the sent box after I send mail? The sent box is blank, so i can't refer to something i've sent previously. I don't even know if the email sent unless the recipient replies because of it?

I'm new to mac but shouldn't there be a junk box and a trash can box of some sort as well? I only have mail box and sent box?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brooke
