Does Boot Camp support Windows Vista 64bit software?

Vista 64bit on MacBook with Boot Camp drivers?

1.5MHz 12in PB, 2.0MHz mini, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

Do you have to use Boot Camp? Can you run it by itself as the only OS on the disk? I would like to set up two different hard drives, one Leopard and one Vista/XP.

Is the 64bit Vista of any particular benefit over 32bit XP?
