Make a folder on the desktop
In iTunes highlight all of the songs in the playlist (NOT the name of the playlist itself)
Copy the tracks to the folder on the desktop (drag n drop)
Copy the folder (or enclosed tracks) to the FlashDrive
Delete the desktop folder if you don't need it
I know it's a bit longwinded but I can't manage to drag from iTunes to anywhere else except on the Mac itself.
Good luck.2.4gb 24" iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 4gb Ram

I have to use the desktop as an intermediate stage between iTunes and an external device.2.4gb 24" iMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 4gb Ram

That way will work but why can't you drag to the flash drive on the desktop?iMac G5 (Rev B) ALS - 1 GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.4.11), silver mini, blue mini, silver shuffle
