Some .jpg don't show up

On one photography forum that I visit, there is one person whose photos i can never see. Whenever I click on one of his links, I only see little blue boxes with a question mark. Seems everybody else can see the pictures except for me. I have asked him and he doesn't seem to know what is wrong that I can't see his pictures. Any help here?

Yes! Precisely! Everyone else seems to be able to see the image, except me. So the question is how can I fix this?

Yes, but you didn't say everyone else can see the images _*with Safari*_; especially since most everyone else does not even use Safari. So I only confirmed it as specific to you and not a bug or issue with Safari.

Which specific image is giving you this problem? Right-click on a broken image and select the "Copy Image Address"... then paste it here.

This is the Safari forum. Reasonable to assume that the question relates to Safari. Equally reasonable to suppose that people who respond also use Safari.

But yes, which image is it that can't be seen?

I don't want to bicker with you, but is it reasonable to assume that everyone in his photography forum uses Safari too? The original question did NOT make it clear what these "other people" are using to see the image.

Yes... this is what I'm asking him.

Here is the image address : http://www.picturelacrosse.com/birds/potn/mix1/treesparrow-img_6413-030608.jpg

Yes, I am using Safari (which is why i posted in the Safari forum. The picture I am trying to see is in the first post. I am guessing it is a tree sparrow because that is the subject of the thread. If you all can see the picture, than there must be something missing with my safari. I am trying to figure out what that is. All pictures that this guy posts I cannot see. When I go to the link above, I just get an error that says "Safari cannot open page".

Who cares, that is not the issue. Read what the OP wrote:

He, the OP, using Safari (presumably) cannot see jpgs from a certain member. Reasonable conclusion: that member is coding his jpgs in a different way to the other members. There are several flavours of jpgs.

We need a link to those jpgs that the OP cannot see in Safari in order to see what they are.

It matters if it affects all Safari users or only the OP. I was the first one in this thread to at least confirm it's not an issue with all Safari 3.0.4 users. That should be just a tiny bit helpful to him.

When he responded that he already knew that, I basically responded that there's absolutely no way I should have assumed the "other photography forum users" to which he referred were also using Safari.
