cannot connect external hard drive nothing shows up...

Hello, i have a maxtor one touch3 hard drive formated with fat32 which works on my mbp, yet when plugged into time capsule nothing happens.

Maybe i am doing something wrong?

Can anyone help me, tech support seems to be extremely "busy" so i cant get help from them..

but i did that, i have yet to get that usb plug working which makes me thing i have a faulty usb plug here

ok nevermind guys i contacted apple support seems like the usb port is bad and i half to get a new time capsule...
