sort by exclamation point

sort by exclamation point

How do I sort by exclamation point? When I need to fix files that iTunes says are missing I get tired of scrolling and scrolling and scrolling to find them all. I click on the top of the first column where the exclamation points are but it doesn't sort it like the other columns. So how do I do this?

I wish I knew the answer to that too. A bug that hopefully the DEV team will fix soon. Very annoying. You could always do what I did - import all your music files into Windows Media Player and use that on your computer - it doesn't have the same bug. Then you only need iTunes when syncing to your iPod.

The easiest way is to use this java script to find dead tracks

http://ottodestruct.com/blog/2005/10/20/itunes-javascripts/

It makes a playlist of dead tracks - tracks that have the ! by them.
